Sam's Story...
Sam is a 1-2 year old, Boxer/ Lab mix. He is a very happy healthy boy with a pronounced Boxer bounce when he walks. He loves playing with other dogs and with people. He would be an awesome jogging partner and cuddle bug when tuckered out.
Sam has a beautiful brindle coat, smooth as silk. Do you have the time to give this special guy an exceptional home. He will be an outstanding family dog. Sam appears to be housebroken. He is looking for a home with a fenced in yard so he can run all his excess energy off and someone to walk with him so reaffirm his leash manners.
Sam is microchipped, neutered & up to date on his shots & vaccines. Please complete an online application at www.rescueahart.org if you'd like to meet him. Thanks!

Come meet Sam, he is sure to charm you and those big eyes will say, take me home.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Sam, a Cincinnati Boxer/Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Boxer/Labrador Retriever for sale in Cincinnati, or seeking a Boxer/Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Cincinnati.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Cincinnati already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Cincinnati breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Boxer/Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Boxer/Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Cincinnati paves the way for another one to be saved.
