Thirteen's Story...
Thirteen is a 1-year, 6-month old blue nose pit mix. She is housebroken as well as well behaved in the house, microchipped, and up to date on her shots. She loves to play with her toys or chew on bones. She knows sit, stay, and down and takes treats very gently from your hand. Thirteen is strong and does pull on the leash but she is working on it with her foster mom! They even took a little nap together! She does currently jump, which would probably be too much for young children. But she is a sweetheart who is just waiting for her forever home to find her... Just look at that smile! Thirteen is being fostered in New Jersey, feel free to contact either us or her foster mom directly: dianamak@yahoo.com

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Thirteen, a New York American Pit Bull Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a American Pit Bull Terrier for sale in New York, or seeking a American Pit Bull Terrier dog from a breeder in New York.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in New York already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a New York breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even American Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with American Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in New York paves the way for another one to be saved.
