Ollie's Story...
My name is Ollie and the first thing you may notice about me is that I'm extra "fluffy!" Well, my story is kind of sad, but my owner of 8 years died recently, that's how I ended up at Wild Dog. My previous owner loved me so much that he fed me food like fettucine alfredo! YUMMY!!! Wow was that stuff delicious. However, I had so much of that food that I'm a little extra "fluffy!" So Wild Dog is helping me eat better and getting exercise. I love getting out and running around. I love to play with kids as they really get me moving! Watch me run in the video! I also love, love, love belly rubs and I will roll over for one every chance I get. I would love to find a forever home that would take me for walks and feed me food that will help me feel wonderful! So if you are looking for a lap lover, belly rub lover kind of dog...I am your guy! Contact Wild Dog Rescue and come out and meet me!

UPDATE: Ollie has bonded with Gigi, another pekingese at the rescue and now must be adopted out together.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Ollie, a Fennville Pekingese dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pekingese for sale in Fennville, or seeking a Pekingese dog from a breeder in Fennville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Fennville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Fennville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pekingese breeders who help with Pekingese rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Fennville paves the way for another one to be saved.
