About Our Rescue Group...
Haven Animal Rescue is a non-profit rescue group dedicated to reducing euthanasia of adoptable animals in shelters.

We do not have a shelter--we are a foster based rescue organization, meaning all of our animals live in private homes and come together on the weekends for adoption events.

The majority of our animals come directly off of various Euthanasia lists around at various Arizona animal shelters. WE DO NOT TAKE ANIMALS FROM THE PUBLIC! We only take animals from the shelters, those that have no one else.

We rely heavily on donations and our wonderful volunteers to be able to continue to provide a haven for animals in need. While we cannot help all animals, we can provide love, security, vetcare and a haven to those that come through our doors.

Come Meet Our Pets...
Adoptions are done on the weekends at the Paradise Valley. Petsmart, northeast corner of Tatum and Shea, Fridays (by appt only on fridays) from 10 to 2, and on Saturday from 10-5 & Sunday 11 to 4 . If you are interested in a particular animal, please contact us to see if that animal will be there!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

tandoor, a Phoenix Border Collie puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Border Collie for sale in Phoenix, or seeking a Border Collie puppy from a breeder in Phoenix.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Phoenix already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Phoenix breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Border Collie breeders who help with Border Collie rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Phoenix paves the way for another one to be saved.
