My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Gus is a 5 month old male Great Pyrenees mix. We think Gus may have Borzoi or possibly Anatolian Shepherd in him as well. Check out his photos and see what you think! Gus is crate trained and house trained, and is learning basic commands such as heeling on a leash. Gus is a very lovable and intelligent puppy. He loves to play and be with people!

Gus is currently fostered with a female Great Pyrenees. They like to play with each other, however, we have found that Gus has food issues. Because Gus came to us from a shelter, it is possible he was starved some time in his young life. People can take Gus's food away, but no other dog can be near him and food. Therefore, we are looking for a forever home for Gus-that does not already have a dog. In the meantime, his foster family is working with a behaviorist to resolve this issue.

Gus is up to date on his vaccinations and his neuter will be done soon. He is in fine health!

A visible secure fence, adoption application, site visit, and adoption fee are required to adopt Gus.
