My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hans and Hector are a pair of brothers who have the cutest folded ears we have ever seen! They came to us from a family who had too many cats and kittens in their barn. Their mom has the same folded ears, so somewhere in their background, a Scottish fold cat must have been on the prowl.

These black and white tuxedo boys were born about July 1, 2012, so they are now about 12 weeks old. Hans has a very short, slick coat and Hector’s fur is longer and very soft.

Hans and Hector are very bonded and will be adopted as a pair only.

We never know with kittens what their grown up personalities will be, but at this stage these two are very loving, playful and active. Hans is the brave explorer who wants to meet everyone and try everything first, and once he has mapped out the territory, Hector follows right behind. To get them purring, all you have to do is look their direction.

They can be vocal when they see people and want to join in the social activities going on. They love playing with each other and with all their toys. They also love people, and they are having a great time playing with the adult cats in their foster home.

Their litter box habits are excellent, and they will need continued training on where scratching and climbing are allowed in their forever home.

Hans and Hector, like all ARCF cats for adoption, have been neutered, microchipped, are up to date on vaccines, and have tested negative for FeLV and FIV. The adoption fee for both kittens is $150.

If you are interested in meeting Hans and Hector please fill out the "I'm interested" form at our website, and our adoption coordinator will respond promptly. Please note that we place cats in the following counties only: Multnomah, Washington, Clackamas and Clark.

Animal Rescue & Care Fund, Inc. is a small rescue organization. We rescue homeless animals only, and do not accept owner-surrendered pets. All our animals live with volunteers in their homes until they are matched with the right permanent family. Thank you for considering one of our pets for adoption.
