My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Webster is Adopted

Webster is fostered in Hermitage PA and his adoption donation is 250.

Hi Cocker lovers! My name is Webster. I was named after the person who wrote Webster’s Dictionary. He was a smart man and I’m a really smart dog!
I’m a beautiful buff boy with cute white markings on my face. Check out the pics on the Cherished Cockers website.  You’ll agree that I am a fine looking 7 years young canine.

My foster Mom says I act like I am two. I take that as a compliment! Curious is my middle name.  I try to figure out how things work. There is a toy box in my current house. I had to take every toy out and play with them. My two favorites are an orange ball that rolls and treats fall out and a big old dinosaur bone I love to carry around and chew. The two phrases I love to hear best are “DINNER TIME” and “PLAY BALL” I come with several tennis balls ready to play fetch. You can throw that ball as many times as you want and I will bring it back to you each time. I can also catch air balls so if you pick me, get ready for FUN!

I currently live in a home with three other dogs. They are OK I guess but what I really want to be is an only dog in a home with adults. Teenagers and cats would work too. Little kids run around too much and make me nervous. I accidently nipped a little kid and that is why I am in rescue. I love people and want to sit and snuggle with my foster every chance I get. Belly rubs are the best! I can be timid when I first meet new people but if you will give me some space and a little time I will turn into a Velcro cocker!

I am extremely healthy and athletic. I love walks and playing outside. I am up to date on all my shots too. My house manners are quite good. I will let you know when I have to go outside and if you go away and want to put me in my crate that is ok but once you trust me I’m sure you will give me the run of the house! Oh, speaking of our house don’t you worry.  I am the best guard dog ever. Nobody will get past Webster without you knowing they are there!

What I am really searching for are nice kind folks who will make me their #1 Boy. It’s tough loosing your home after 7 years but I’m ready to start a new life with YOU! I’ve got lots of life left to be your dog. You need to e-mail or call Cherished Cockers and tell them you want WEBSTER!!

Webster is neutered, up to date on all vaccinations and heartworm negative.
