Here's what the humans have to say about me:
An old lady customer from our Tennessee Vet rescued this dog and found her a home. She then found out the people were not taking good care of Lady, so she took her back. This old woman didn't want to worry about Lady getting into the wrong hands again, so she decided she'd bring Lady to the vet to be euthanized. Well, one of the assistants stepped in and asked the doctor if they can hold onto her for a little while to give her a fighting chance. That is when our DDR Southern Volunteer, Chris steps in. Lady is a year old and she weighs 50 lbs. She is current with all vaccinations, spayed. and an overall great dog. Lady is good on leash and is a dog with medium energy level. She gets along well with some dogs but not with others. Lady gets to excited with cats as well, so she has told me she would perfer to be the only pet in the house but if she is not then she would need to be tested with the dog or cat. She rides great in the car and is housebroken & crate trained. She knows "sit" and "paw". Lady needs a strong owner who will set limits with her. She would do great with a single couple or person who is very active and dog savy. As she can be jumpy, she should go to a home with only older teenage kids. Lady is currently in training right now learning that life is not so bad afterall. Overall, this girl exudes happiness that she gets another chance at life.
