Chicklet is a 4 mos old, female Chihuahua who currently weighs 3 lbs. She will stay very tiny and will be about 5 lbs. once full grown. Chicklet was rescued from the Devore animal shelter after we saw her walking around her kennel giving every single dog a kiss. Her happy cheerful nature in such a sad environment melted our hearts.
Chicklet is a very happy playful puppy. She is white with the cutest little spots all over her body. Her favorite thing to do is give kisses to everyone. And we do mean everyone! When you pick her up she will cuddle in and shower you with affection. She loves to play with the other dogs in her foster home and loves to cuddle up with them for naps. She is a good friend to everyone. But don’t let her size fool you. She is feisty and holds her own with the dogs who are twice her size. Chicklet likes to go for car rides and once she is fully vaccinated we will be introducing her to walks which I have no doubt will be her new favorite thing (besides kisses).
Chicklet has been doing fabulous at her housebreaking. She will use the bathroom outside if that is an option OR will use her piddle pad. It will be easy for her new owner to reinforce whichever method suits their lifestyle better. She is not a barker and is content and compliant when she needs to be by herself. The non fussy type. Because Chicklet is the fragile teacup type of girl we would prefer a home with no children under 12 years of age.
Chicklet is, spayed, microchipped, rabies, dewormed and up to date on her vaccinations. If you would like to meet her please contact Theresa at firstname.lastname@example.org or call 951 852-7999. Welcome to Treasured Tails Canine Rescue. We are a volunteer based all breed dog rescue focusing on Riverside County and San Bernardino County animal shelters. The dogs we save from shelters are the ones in danger of euthanasia. Highly adoptable dogs lose their lives due to many reasons. Shelter over crowding, an easily treatable medical condition or injury, a dog who is extremely shy or frightened in the shelter environment or in many cases the dog is simply in need of a make over at the groomers. Once a dog enters our rescue he/she goes into a foster home where we can get to know that dog better which allows us to match the dog up with the right family. We do this for the love of dogs.
FOSTER HOMES ARE ALWAYS NEEDED! PLEASE CONTACT FOR FURTHER INFO ON BECOMING A FOSTER FOR OUR RESCUE.
Our dogs can be seen by appointment only. If you are interested in learning more about a particular dog, please contact us at email@example.com or call 951 852-7999
Our adoption process is as follows. An adoption application needs to be filled out so we know a little more about you and your home. This helps us match the right dog up with the right family. If it looks like a good match we will set up a time where the family can meet the dog and spend time together. It is required that all members of the household and their current dogs (if any) be present during the meet and greet. If things go well and the family decides to adopt, Treasured Tails will deliver dog to its new family on a day/time agreed upon by both parties.
Adoption fee is $200-$250 and that includes spay/neuter, microchip, rabies. utd vaccinations and deworm.
An adoption contract must be signed by both parties upon adoption.
