My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Scooby is a 4 1/2 year old red fawn male, who just retired from a moderate racing career. He's an outgoing boy, who loves his toys. Scooby's is fostering with a cat and doing fine. He's OK with small dogs, too.

I’m a big, red boy called Scooby. I like people, get along with my kennel mates, but I’d rather be curled up on your couch with you watching Sunday night football. Don’t worry; your couch will be safe from mounds of fur ‘cos greyhounds shed very little. Be warned, I will get excited when someone scores a touchdown, and I may jump on and off the couch a few times. For sure, I’ll be ROOing up a storm!

FOSTER UPDATE:

48 Hours: I'm two days into my intensive, how-to-be-a-pet training. I had no idea there would be tests!

Seems like every few minutes they want me to try something new. So far, I like squeaky toys, chasing a ball, riding in the car, my greyhound foster brother, my funny looking non-greyhound foster sisters, the cat (truth is I'm kind of apathetic about the cat, but my foster parents REALLY want me to like her, so I'm going along with it), a little terrier neighbor dog, overnight visitors, Cub Scouts selling popcorn, coyotes right on the other side of the fence howling their coyotes heads off, lawn mowers, splashing swimmers, walks, and people...especially people.

I think they have concluded nothing bothers me, and are finally going to let me rest.

Oh, I almost forgot. I DON'T like swimming. Story for another day.. Scooby has an adoption pending.
