Boo's Story...

Boo is a male Boxer, DOB August 25, 2012.

Three un-altered dogs living in a small house in inner city Saginaw lead to the creation of Boo and his 7 brothers and sisters. They spent the first 8 weeks living in a kitchen with their mom but as they started eating more hard food and less milk from their mom, the owners realized that they couldn't afford to buy food for 8 growing puppies. Luckily, instead of letting these puppies end up in the wrong hands or having them end up on the streets like so many in the cities do, the owners called Last Chance to make sure that these babies made it into great, loving homes.

This week has brought a lot of changes for these puppies. They experienced their first car ride to their new foster homes, they felt the softness of grass under their feet and wind tickling their noses for the first time, and they have gotten to meet a lot of new people, pups, and kitties who will become new friends! There’s a lot of learning to be done but these bouncy babies are up for the challenge!

This pup will be available for adoption this Saturday at PETsMART in Brighton from 12 noon to 4 pm.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Boo, a Howell Boxer puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Boxer for sale in Howell, or seeking a Boxer puppy from a breeder in Howell.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Howell already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Howell breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Boxer breeders who help with Boxer rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Howell paves the way for another one to be saved.
