Dracula's Story...
Dracula is a 4 year old husky/lab mix. He weighs 40 pounds and he is the
most beautiful steel grey color. Dracula was surrendered by his owner when
his owner lost his home and could no longer care for Dracula. He is a little
shy at first, but responds well to attention and is very sweet and loving.
Dracula plays well with other dogs who are not too dominant. He is
housetrained, but he likes to "mark," so he will need a little instruction
when he comes to your home. Dracula is in a boarding kennel so he needs a
foster home or a forever home. Please give Dracula a second chance.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Dracula, a Richmond Husky/Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Husky/Labrador Retriever for sale in Richmond, or seeking a Husky/Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Richmond.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Richmond already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Richmond breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Husky/Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Husky/Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Richmond paves the way for another one to be saved.
