My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

UPDATED BIO 11/09/2012: Pippi is one of three puppies born to Foster Dog Cami on 09/06/2012. She was 9 weeks old on 11/08/212 and weighs 8.06 lbs now. Pippi is all about playing - all the time until she just drops to the ground from exhaustion. She and her siblings love to play with one another and love to play with any type of toy.

Pippi would do well in a home with another dog so that she can continue to learn ‘puppy manners’ once she leaves Trixie & Domino. She would be very lonely as an only dog, especially if she was left alone during the day. The puppies are out of their puppy play-pen and running around the house now; they are perfectly house-trained to go on either wee-wee- pads or outside; they are getting 2-3 long outings outside every day. The puppies no longer sleep in their puppy play-pen, but are sleeping separately in their own crate every night, so that they can get adjusted to being without each other when adopted. Foster Mom has started daily walks on the leash, which are a bit on the carazee side now, but each day gets better ~~~ they want to stop every few steps and smell/investigate something new - everything is new to little puppies!

UPDATED BIO 10/31/2012: PIPPI is one of three puppies born to Foster Dog Cami on 09/06/2012. She will be 8 weeks old on 11/01/2012, and weighs 6.43 lbs; she and her sister Trixie and brother Domino are being fostered in The Villages, FL. Pippi is very ready to go to her forever home. Like Domino & Trixie, Pippi loves loves loves to play and run, especially under shrubbery where she takes all her toys. We are hopeful that Pippi will be adopted into a home with a fenced-in yard. She loves to play with toys, no matter the size, and gets along great with her siblings and other dogs. Pippi, like the other puppies, loves to cuddle and will fall asleep in your arms. She is well-adjusted and a happy puppy! Because she is so playful and still a very young puppy, it would be great for her to be adopted into a home with another young playful dog, so that she can follow their lead on housetraining and learning proper puppy manners. The puppies are currently pee-pee pad trained, but of course, they are still very young to fully understand housetraining, so her new parents will need to have patience with her until she learns what is expected of her. We don’t know how big Pippi will be – Cami’s post-pregnancy weight is approximately 10-1/2 lbs, and she is a Cairn Terrier mix. But Pippi is a little black bundle of fur and white paws and full of love and kisses. Could your home be perfect for Pippi?

Initial Bio 10/06/2012 MEET PIPPI! Pippi is one of three puppies born to Cami on 09/06/2012. The puppies are 4 weeks old now and making their debut on the LFL page. Pippi currently weighs 3 lbs 7 oz - she is so far the one who loves to cuddle the most and is quiet unless she is hungry! Pippi and her siblings Trixie & Domino will be ready for adoption when they are 8-10 weeks old. We don't know at this time how big Cami's puppies will be - Cami's post-pregnancy weight is approximately 10 1/2 lbs and she is a Cairn Terrier mix. Watch for updates on Pippi and her littermates
