Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Jake loves belly rubs! He would make a loyal and devoted companion because he is very people oriented and likes to be by people as much as possible. He is smart and friendly like a lab, but is on the small side for a retriever, probably only about 50 pounds, so he must be mixed with some smaller breed, perhaps border collie or spaniel?
He came to the shelter as a stray and is approximately 1-3 years old. He walks well on a leash and responds to "come" and "sit". Like most retrievers, Jake is smart and will learn quickly because he is very attentive to whoever is walking him. Jake just needs someone to be his companion and pal. Please come and meet this nice boy.
The adoption fee of $150 includes heartworm test; current vaccines; spay/neuter & microchip!
