Kenley's Story...
Hi, my name's Kenley! Thanks for stopping to look at my page! I was brought into the shelter by my owner's because they didn't have enough time for me, now I'm here looking for a forever home. I'm a 4 year old Cairn Terrier. We're not sure how I am with other dogs, cats, and kids yet. Before I am adopted I will be up to date on shots, neutered, and will have a microchip. Now all I need is someone to love me and give me a home. Do you think you have room in your house and home for a little guy like me? The shelter is open on Monday Wednesday and Friday from 1-5, and Tuesday and Thursday from 1-8, come visit me!

You can see some of our adoptable pets almost every Saturday at the Petsmart in Greensburg from noon to 6pm and some Sundays too. All adoption fees include spay/neuter and up-to-date vaccinations.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Kenley, a Youngwood Cairn Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Cairn Terrier for sale in Youngwood, or seeking a Cairn Terrier dog from a breeder in Youngwood.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Youngwood already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Youngwood breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Cairn Terrier breeders who help with Cairn Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Youngwood paves the way for another one to be saved.
