Meow! My name is Abu
|Breed:||Domestic Shorthair||Color:||Black (All)||Age:||Adult|
I am already neutered, housetrained, and up to date with shots.
Please contact Jennifer (email@example.com) for more information about this pet.
Abu and Raja’s approximate birthdate is 9/30/11. They are both fixed and current on all their shots. Abu is extremely friendly. Will come on your lap and enjoy a movie, or the news. He loves to sit on my lap while checking my email – and may even help compose an email! Raja is a bit more shy. He will come and sit on the couch and loves to be petted, but not much of a lap-sitter. They still play and chase each other like kittens. They get along well with my cats, as well as my foster kittens, often engaging in play with the little ones. We would love to see them get adopted together as they are best buddies, but that is not a requirement, however, they'd likely be lonely as an only pet, so a home with other animals for them to play with would be preferable if they do not go to the same home. I have had them in my foster care since November 18, 2011 and they are very good cats. They do not do well at Petco/Petsmart adoption events so they have not been there in several months. They are in a foster home, so if you'd like to meet them, please send us an email.

Every kitten is tested for Feline Leukemia and adult cats are tested for Feline Leukemia and FIV. All cats are de-wormed, de-fleaed and have received a Distemper vaccine. With every adoption, we work with you to ensure every phase of introducing your kitten or cat into your home is smooth and pleasant.
After you have found the perfect fit, you will be asked to fill out a questionnaire. Your responses are reviewed and if the fit is good for both you and the kitty or cat, you move on to the next step which is the Adoption Agreement.
The Adoption Agreement is the binding contract between you and Kindred Kitties for the adoption of your new family member. A tax deductible donation to Kindred Kitties is requested. You will be given a Certificate for a free health check and if the cat/kitten is not yet spayed, you will receive a Spay/Neuter Certificate offering discounts at a number of local veterinarians.
One Cat (over 1 year old) = $60.00 or two for $100.00
One Kittens (under a year) = $80.00 or two for $120.00
If spay/neuter date is within two weeks of adoption date, it will be included with adoption fee.
Make sure you have everything you need for your new family member before you bring your kitten or cat home. A volunteer will be able to assist you. Here is a list of things you will need:
Litter pan, litter and scooper
Food (dry and/or wet) appropriate for the age of your kitty
Food and water bowls
Toys (for socializing)
Bed or blanket
A quiet secure room for them to become acclimated with their new home
Lots of love and affection
