My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Bridge is a happy little dog who loves to have fun and frolic. He's silly, merry, outgoing and loves to play and be the centre of attention. He's also a goofy little charmer who loves to cuddle and show affection. Bridge is a very loyal and eager to please little boy who can put a smile on anyone's face. Bridge is a young dog approximately 10 mths - a year old and weighs just under 20 lbs.

Bridge gets along great with his doggy room mate. They play and cuddle together all the time. Bridge loves to play with other dogs at the dog park and gets along well with other dogs we meet on our walks. He loves to run & play with other dogs at the dog park. He is incredibly fast & agile for his size and gives even the fastest dogs a run for their money. At the same time he is happy to spend most of the day relaxing, napping, playing with toys, and just being his silly, goofy self. He is fairly quiet little dog who occasionally barks when alone or when someone comes to the door.

When he came to us, Bridge didn't know any basic commands. He has since learned to sit, come and is making progress with staying and other basic commands. He needs a lot more practice but is well on his way. He is fully house trained and has not had any accidents while in my care. He is very well mannered the majority of the time. As Bridge is fully house trained I have not had to crate him while he has be with us.

Bridge has be making great strides in his leash training. He has gone from completely untrained to being able to walk beside me, most of the time, while we stroll down the avenues. He still has a ways to go, but is on his way to becoming a very well behaved little man. Bridge is very well behaved while indoors. He hasn't chewed or gotten in to anything he shouldn't and is, in general, an obedient little man. When he first came to us he would try to bolt out the door but has since learned to sit patiently for me to give him permission to come through a doorway. He seems very healthy and vibrant.

Bridge is great little guy who can charm his way into the hardest of hearts. He's a funny, silly goofy little man who's crazy antics never fail to draw laughs. He would make a great and rewarding addition to the right family. He loves to go for walks, enjoys playing with his toys and would make a great friend for children. He bonds quickly to his people and would enjoy a house with a backyard to play in. He would be fine as a second dog.

If you think Bridge would make a great addition to your family pack, please submit an application for consideration.
