PATTY's Story...
Meet our sweet Patty!

Patty is a 4 month old female puppy who weighs about 20 lbs now and won't get that big when fully grown, probably 50 lbs. We're not sure of her breed as she was an abandoned rescue pup, so this is our best guess.

Patty is playful, she loves toys. She will chase them and toss them in the air, entertaining herself. She loves to play with other dogs and will 'stalk' them by doing a belly crawl across the floor. Hilarious to watch! Her foster mom says she's the easiest puppy she's ever had. She will settle herself in at night in her pillow, no whining or crying. When she bonds with you, she LOOOOOVES you!

Patty was a little shy when she got here, but now she has really blossomed. She would love to be in a home with another dog who can show her the ropes of being a grown up. She is very sweet and warms up slowly but once she does she will love you forever. She's a smart and happy puppy!

Patty is one lucky puppy. She was rescued by the only animal shelter in Guatemala. In a country that loves purebred dogs and has dog shows, they treat mixed breed puppies with contempt and indifference, and sweet puppies like Patty are often cast out into the streets to fend for themselves. Luckily she was rescued by a kind American woman who decided to increase her odds of survival by sending her a one way ticket to America in hopes that someone would adopt her.

Patty is spayed and up to date on all shots. We are a registered 501 (3)(C) so there is a fee for adoption.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

PATTY, a San Francisco Labrador Retriever/Shepherd (Unknown Type) puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever/Shepherd (Unknown Type) for sale in San Francisco, or seeking a Labrador Retriever/Shepherd (Unknown Type) puppy from a breeder in San Francisco.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in San Francisco already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a San Francisco breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever/Shepherd (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Labrador Retriever/Shepherd (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in San Francisco paves the way for another one to be saved.
