Here's what the humans have to say about me:
This is a Take Me Home courtesy post. Lisa is not affiliated with Take Me Home. We have not evaluated her and she is not under our care. Take Me Home is not responsible for any adoptions through private parties.
All dogs are spayed/neutered prior to being courtesy posted on our sites. For more information on Lisa, please contact Carrie Leach at VistaCarrie@Yahoo.com
Lisa is the sweetest little six year old Jack Russell mix who sadly, has the most heartbreaking story. After being rescued from the Orange County Shelter as a small puppy, Lisa found her forever home with a man who adored her and with whom she spent the last six years of her life. Lisa knew the good life with her Dad and when he would go out of town, she enjoyed visiting her former foster home where she loved to run and play with her foster pack, including four large breed dogs, both male and female; Lisa got along with all of them.
Unfortunately, Lisa’s good life came to a tragic ending when her Dad was diagnosed with Leukemia and passed away at home, leaving Lisa alone and scared until help arrived. Worse yet, Lisa’s Dad’s family was not willing to provide her with a loving home when he passed, so she has been living in a boarding facility where her spirits are quickly deteriorating.
Lisa is used to being an active little girl and loves to go for walks and swim in the pool. She also loves people, including children, and would love nothing more than to have a family to love her in return. But now her days are spent locked up in a cage, alone and scared, wondering what she did wrong.
If you are looking for a smaller dog and have the love and compassion to help heal Lisa’s spirit, she is waiting for you and deserves to live the good life again!
