Jewelli's Info...

I am already spayed, housetrained, and up to date with shots.

Jewelli's Story...
Jewelli is a rather timid spayed/ female, 14 months old, 6 pounds and
ready for fall's rainy weather. She will always need a sweater & rain
coat for these blustery wet days for walks.[not much fat on this wee
girl] She likes walking on a leash with our other dog however is not
sure where her place in the pack is yet - but we are working on her
confidence. She enjoys playing with toys & running thru the house with
our other dog, she had only used potty pads in the past, however we
are trying to coax her to potty outside... She sleeps in a crate, OR
if you wish, under the blankets with you............. Your call ;)
She gets along with our 15 pound cat and 10 pound dog, she loves to
cuddle on your lap, even manages to share my lap with the other
dog.......we've not tried sharing with the cat yet.... She eats well
and does not seem to be finicky like many small dogs. She comes when
called, and knows sit and wait.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Jewelli, a Bellingham Chihuahua dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua for sale in Bellingham, or seeking a Chihuahua dog from a breeder in Bellingham.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Bellingham already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Bellingham breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua breeders who help with Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Bellingham paves the way for another one to be saved.
