My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

EST DOB: 3/7/09 Medical Conditions: Needs lysine support
Sweet Mia looks like a little doll. She loves to sit in the window and watch the day go by, without a care in the world. When you walk in the room she jumps down and rubs against your feet, begging for a scratch on the head. She is very tolerant even around kittens.

When Mia first came to us, she had a virus called Calicivirus and became very sick. Cats are vaccinated against this illness, but sometimes cats/kittens in situations like shelters or outdoors catch it before fully protected. She is now healthy and fully vaccinated to keep her strong. It will be very important that she continue to be vaccinated every year. She will, also, need to be adopted as an only cat or with a playmate from her room just as a precaution for unexposed cats. We have had a lot of success with adopting out cats that have gotten sick from this virus and now live normal, happy lives in their new furever homes. Contact us for references or questions.
