Roland's Info...

Roland's Story...
Roland was found by a landlord tied to a tree in back of an empty home. It is unknown how long he had been there but he was starving to death. After being at animal control for three weeks, we pulled him. He was very skinny, had a skin condition, HW positive, loaded with parasites but never stopped wagging his tail. Roland is almost done with heart worm treatment, is fully vetted, good with people and other dogs and looking for a home. He does not even look like the same dog, his blue coat is healthy and shiny and he flirts with everyone he sees. Fostered with young kids, cats and other dogs - he must be fed in his crate though and not around other dogs, he still doesn't understand there will always be enough food from now on :) To see his journey, go to https://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=a.264061647029464.44637.173579772744319&type=3

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Roland, a Columbus American Pit Bull Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a American Pit Bull Terrier for sale in Columbus, or seeking a American Pit Bull Terrier dog from a breeder in Columbus.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Columbus already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Columbus breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even American Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with American Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Columbus paves the way for another one to be saved.
