Here's what the humans have to say about me:
July 31, 2012: Clifford is a happy, sweet 7 year old beagle/basset mix. He gets along well with other dogs, and respects them when they tell him off. He met several kittens at the vet (including a VERY small 2 week old kitten), and was not interested in them at all, beyond a "what's THAT" sniff. He loves belly rubs, and attention of any kind. He is housebroken. He walks nicely on leash. He is very interested in food but does not guard food at all. Whenever he sees someone his tail wags and wags-he's always excited to meet new people. He likes to play, but also likes to nap on his dog bed. He does have some arthritis that seems to bother him a little, but nothing major. We will start him on a joint supplement and see if that helps. We are still learning about Clifford, so stay tuned!
Update: August 30, 2012:
Clifford is doing great here! We recently had 30 people over for a party, including several young kids, and he did great! He loved everyone, and had a good time getting treats. He is a counter surfer, and will peek to see what is on tables. He has an ear infection and is good with our putting the drops in his ears (he didn't like it at first but is doing much better). He is getting eye drops to try to reduce the cherry eye, and doesn't mind them at all. He is a fun, sweet dog who loves to cuddle with his people. Despite being on two different news channels in the Philadelphia area, no one has shown any interest in Clifford. We don't understand why! Please consider adding Clifford to your family.
