Rosie is a precious little bundle of joy that melts your heart every time she looks at you with her sweet, adoring eyes. You can’t help falling in love with her. Rosie has the prettiest face, with long flowing ears. She loves cuddling and spending time with you, but she is no couch potato. She is a very energetic walker and is willing to go on a moment’s notice. Rosie loves car rides. All you need to do is open the car door and she is ready for a new adventure.

Rosie is kennel trained and loves to obey and please. She can be timid when she first meets new people but warms up quickly. She is an eight year old Papillion / Dachshund mix. Why Adoption is a Great Option

Rosie, a Overland Park Dachshund/Papillon dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Dachshund/Papillon for sale in Overland Park, or seeking a Dachshund/Papillon dog from a breeder in Overland Park.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Overland Park already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Overland Park breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Dachshund/Papillon breeders who help with Dachshund/Papillon rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Overland Park paves the way for another one to be saved.
