Introducing our amber-eyed beauty, Bobbi. You must meet her in person to appreciate those shining, gorgeous, heart melting eyes. She is a gregarious 3 year old, tri-colored, female with enough freckles to almost qualify as a blue tick! She is around 14 inches tall and a perfect 25 lbs. This sweet girl was picked up as a stray and held in an animal control shelter for three days before HBHR found and rescued her.
Bobbi is active, energetic and bounds around playing with her toys and foster siblings. She would do well with a family that keeps her busy with walks, pet sessions, and snuggling. She is SO thrilled to be in a loving foster home, she wiggles her whole body with happiness. Think of how happy she would be if you brought her into your home with your loving family - forever!
She is great with children and other dogs. She has enough energy to keep up with younger dogs, but is also mellow enough to live with older dogs. She is very well behaved and is house broken, crate trained and knows how to use a dog door. An added plus is she is highly trainable.
Bobbi is sweet, loving and craves attention, but cuddle time with her is often cut short by a sudden burst of energy that propels her into a game with her foster siblings! She would love a family that will give her time, patience and unconditional love. She is ready for and deserves a happy life. Bobbi with the beautiful eyes just might be your family's new best friend.

If you are interested in adopting one of our dogs, THE FIRST STEP is to complete our adoption questionnaire. Please visit our website here and follow the instructions on adoption: Houston Beagle Rescue Our regular adoption fee is $225; special needs, mixes and senior dogs are $175, and pups 8 months and younger are $275. The fee includes the spay/neuter, the vaccines, flea and heartworm preventative/treatment, a new leash/ collar/ rescue ID tag, microchip, and some training. Some dogs may have had additional vetcare such as orthopedic surgeries, heartworm treatment or other procedures, but these "extras" will not affect their adoption fee. Donations to help with vetcare are always welcomed!
