I found a new home!
Plenty of my friends are looking
for one too. Find a pet to adopt.

Lars's Info...

I am already neutered, housetrained, up to date with shots, good with kids, and good with dogs.

Lars's Story...
Living in the shelter hasn't given me an opportunity to show the world how wonderful I am. I can't wait for my person to take me away so we can get on with life, there is so much to be done. Let's go for walks, take a class, play fetch...and save plenty of time for belly rubs and snuggling.

Lars adoption fee is $175; he's up to date with routine shots, micro-chipped and altered and has tested negative for heartworms.
Please call the shelter to check on Lars' location; he may be in a foster home if one becomes available.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Lars, a Columbia Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Columbia, or seeking a Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Columbia.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Columbia already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Columbia breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Columbia paves the way for another one to be saved.
