~ADOPTION PENDING~ Connie is a female Schnauzer only 1 year old. She has gorgeous salt and pepper coloring with dark charcoal gray fur set off by creamy ivory on her belly and legs. Connie is truly a beautiful young dog. She is on the smaller side, weighing only 10 pounds. Connie is the ultimate snuggler all the way. She will cuddle in your arms for literally hours. She melts like butter when you are holding her and is so content and sweet when cuddling. Connie is a friendly girl, incredibly sweet tempered and mellow. She gets along with everyone she meets and has impeccable manners. Connie is very quiet and demure - a true little lady. She can be a little shy at first, but warms up quickly and bonds loyally to those she knows. She is very animated once she is comfortable and gets to know her people, playing in a cute, gentle way and hopping around with excitement when she sees you. Connie is without a doubt one of the most darling dogs we have ever met and we are confident you will agree. She gets along with other dogs, is good with children and is great out in public. She is a fantastic little dog and we are still trying to figure out how she ended up in the shelter. She is going to make some lucky person very happy! Connie most definitely deserves better and is looking for a safe, secure, stable forever home.

Connie’s adoption donation is $350 (*TAX DEDUCTABLE). She has been SPAYED, MICROCHIPPED, VACCINATED, DEWORMED, DEFLEAED and PROFESSIONALLY GROOMED. Also included is her collar with ID, harness, leash, folder with all of her records, a great PETCO coupon book, and a fun goodie bag with toys, etc.

Connie is being fostered by Pet Match Rescue Foster Volunteer, Mary M. and is ready for her forever home.

You may meet and apply to adopt Connie at our ADOPTION EVENT on SUNDAY, OCTOBER 21st from 12 Noon - 3:00 at PETCO in NEWPORT BEACH located at 1280 Bison Ave., Newport Beach, CA 92660. adoptpetmatch@gmail.com

Why Adoption is a Great Option

CONNIE, a Newport Beach Schnauzer (Miniature) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Schnauzer (Miniature) for sale in Newport Beach, or seeking a Schnauzer (Miniature) dog from a breeder in Newport Beach.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Newport Beach already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Newport Beach breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Schnauzer (Miniature) breeders who help with Schnauzer (Miniature) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Newport Beach paves the way for another one to be saved.
