Harley's Story...
INITIAL BIO 10/15/2012: Hi! I'm Harley!! I'm cute cute cute and weigh a mere 5.5 lbs. I'm only 1.5 years old and did I tell you how cute I am?? I am being fostered in Orlando near Mickey Mouse and am having a lot of fun in my foster Mom's home playing with my fur sister.

My owners had to give me up because I was a little too active for their other Yorkie. I wanted to play, play, play and she didn't. I'd love another fur buddy to play with and a big fenced in yard too!! I love my person, but if you leave me, I'm crate trained and house trained. Don't I sound perfect!? Wanna know more? Email my foster mom, 'kay??

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Harley, a Brooksville Yorkie, Yorkshire Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Yorkie, Yorkshire Terrier for sale in Brooksville, or seeking a Yorkie, Yorkshire Terrier dog from a breeder in Brooksville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Brooksville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Brooksville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Yorkie, Yorkshire Terrier breeders who help with Yorkie, Yorkshire Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Brooksville paves the way for another one to be saved.
