Lacey-Adopted!'s Story...
Meet Lacey, a beautiful young female hound mix who was found as a stray pup living on the streets. Lacey has been waiting for over 2 years for someone to notice her. She is ready to be part of your family! Love her and shower her with kisses, and she will do the same right back! Lacey loves attention and wants to be near you. She has lived with other dogs, but she should be introduced to new dogs carefully. This girl would do best in a home with a fenced in yard as she is full of energy and loves to run and play. Lacey has been spayed, is housebroken, and up to date on shots. Lacey weighs about 45 pounds. Birth date 5/12/12

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Lacey-Adopted!, a Detroit Hound (Unknown Type) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Hound (Unknown Type) for sale in Detroit, or seeking a Hound (Unknown Type) dog from a breeder in Detroit.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Detroit already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Detroit breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Hound (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Hound (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Detroit paves the way for another one to be saved.
