Katie's Story...
Katie’s previous owner could no longer physically care for her any longer and that is when Picasso’s Place stepped into help. Katie is a super sweet and affectionate little girl. At 10 years young, Katie is unaware of her age. She can easily keep up with a 2-mile walk and has no problem chasing squirrels in her fenced-in yard in her foster home. Katie would prefer a home without cats as she doesn't quite understand that it is not appropriate to chase the cats. She loves undivided attention and is really hoping for someone that would spend time with her and allow her to cuddle and snuggle with them — perhaps someone that is retired and looking for a lap companion. A home without small children would be best.

Katie 10 years old and is spayed, current on vaccines, heart worm prevention and flea/tick prevention and will have her teeth professionally cleaned prior to being adopted

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Katie, a Myersville Miniature Pinscher/Miniature Pinscher dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Miniature Pinscher/Miniature Pinscher for sale in Myersville, or seeking a Miniature Pinscher/Miniature Pinscher dog from a breeder in Myersville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Myersville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Myersville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Miniature Pinscher/Miniature Pinscher breeders who help with Miniature Pinscher/Miniature Pinscher rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Myersville paves the way for another one to be saved.
