Penny's Story...
Penny is a 6 month old little girl that was dumped in an unlocked car in a parking lot. She was very fearful and scared. She hid in a dog house at her foster home for two days and you could not go near her.

Once she warmed up to her foster mom and realized she wasn't going to hurt her, she came out of her shell and is a totally different dog. She is very outgoing, playful, loves attention and has lots of energy and a great personality.

You can meet her at the Natomas Marketplace Petsmart on the weekends from 11am - 5pm.

Adoption fee applies which includes: Spay, UTD on vaccines, given flea treatment

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Penny, a Sacramento Chihuahua/Miniature Pinscher dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua/Miniature Pinscher for sale in Sacramento, or seeking a Chihuahua/Miniature Pinscher dog from a breeder in Sacramento.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Sacramento already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Sacramento breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua/Miniature Pinscher breeders who help with Chihuahua/Miniature Pinscher rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Sacramento paves the way for another one to be saved.
