Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Roofy is a very handsome boy and beautifully colored....tricolored with patches and ticking (spots) galore. Around ten months old, he's an easy medium size. This one is a BIG character. If you like silly, you will love Roofy! He is a big tail wagger and LOVES to snuggle. Timid boy we held back, and he has made great strides! He will sit for an ogre with seven heads if they have a cookie, lol! He's got a reasonable energy and is easy to get along with. Roofy will benefit greatly from continued socialization, is well housebroken. Great with kids and can take their silliness just fine (has been fostered alongside a toddler), would appreciate a female doggie companion. He's got some quirky barrier issues with other dogs on leash.....some he is happy to meet, others he bays at but given time to settle meets them fine.....but with dogs he knows is a fine player. We do not recommend him as a first dog, but certainly do for full families, which will please his social nature best. Very responsive and willing to learn. We do not require fenced yards but it would be great if you had one....he loves to sunbathe and is very good in the yard. It is very easy to fall in love with this guy....he is adorable, easygoing, sweet as a sack of sugar and oh so attentive! Please fill out an application at southpawsexpress.org today!
