Holden's Story...
Hi, my name is Holden and I was born in May of 2012 (approximation).

I am a very lively and playful boy, loving attention from my sibling and from people alike. Like most kittens, I can be a little naughty, but overall I am truly a good boy. My foster family worked with all of us a lot to get us nice and socialized, so we are great family pets.

I love to sit and cuddle with people who come and visit; I would be a great cat for someone who wants an interactive cat who wants to be in the presence of people. I would love to go home with a sibling or another kitten to keep me busy, but if you have lots of time and energy, then I'll be fine by myself too.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Holden, a Grand Rapids Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Grand Rapids, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Grand Rapids.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Grand Rapids already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Grand Rapids breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Grand Rapids paves the way for another one to be saved.
