My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi, my name is Duncan and I was born in 2010 (approximation).

I came to Carol's Ferals through a woman who wanted nothing more than to find me a place to go. I had showed up at her house covered in sores and she knew I didn't belong outside even though I am a very big boy and could have probably fended for myself for awhile. She brought me in to get the sores checked out, and it turns out that I have a terrible flea allergy. Putting me back outside would guarantee that I'd keep having fleas and being in pain, so Carol decided that she could do better for me and find me a home; It didn't hurt that I am also very handsome and Carol is a sucker for big cats like me. After some flea medication and time, my sores cleared up and now I'm happy, healthy, and ready to go! As long as I'm kept flea-free, my allergy won't be any problem for my new family.

I am a big cat with an easy-going personality. I don't necessarily enjoy a lot of noise, but I tend to just ignore it in most scenarios. Other cats don't bother me once we've had some time to meet each other; despite my size, I really am just a lover. I will come out to see you when you come into the room; there's no way you can miss me! I will even talk to you too sometimes if the mood strikes.
