Patrick's Info...

Patrick's Story...
Patrick and his sister Penelope were adopted out as kittens approximately a year ago, and were recently returned after the owner moved from the city. Patrick is a very confident and outgoing young boy. He is extremely playful, friendly and easy going. He likes people, and he adjusted really well to the change in his living circunstances and has had no problem getting along with all the twenty new cats he has just met at the adoption centre. He would do well in any home! He and Penelope are bonded, and will need to be adopted together.

If you would like to take this adorable pair home, please visit http://www.poundrescue.com/adoptions/adoption-process to learn about the adoption process & fees, or to fill out an adoption application.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Patrick, a Okotoks Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Okotoks, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Okotoks.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Okotoks already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Okotoks breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Okotoks paves the way for another one to be saved.
