Here's what the humans have to say about me:
"MARK" IS NOT A RESCUE, but a retired AKC Champion "show" Poodle. He is a most gorgeous black, 9 year old Miniature Poodle at 15" tall and weighs a healthy 15 pounds.
Mark had been living with his handler at her home in Canada as her pet. She had an aneurysm in the brain over a year ago while Mark has been in the USA available for stud service. But with a low sperm count, he was unable to produce healthy puppies.
Sadly, Mark's owner no longer wants Mark back, and his beloved handler is no longer able take care of her self let alone a dog.
He gave all his life, and now no one wants him. Perhaps we ALL may be in this position soon enough...
This boy is still very active and needs a family willing to love him as he now enters his senior years..
Bragging rights are yours with this handsome fellow! He just loves people, and would do best with older children. Mark gets along with our female Poodles but have been told it would be best that he is THE ONLY DOG, as he was King of his Castle!
Mark is also very loving, gentle, wiling to please, obedient, loves to fill empty arms and very quiet (he has been de-barked).
You should see him run! He greatly enjoys picking up toys and running with them in his mouth. Oh for cute!!
He has been a perfect gentleman in our home with no accidents. What a great opportunity for the right family!
Looking for a Poodle to be a "therapy" dog... one that visits those a hospital or in a hospices situation? HERE HE IS!!!
Mark's 1 million, zillion, trillion, billion dollar adoption fee (negotiable to the right family) includes his recent Vet checked, teeth cleaning and removal of some teeth due to lack of dental care. His shots are all up to date, heartworm tested negative, wormed, micro chipped and has been recently neutered.
I will include a kennel, a bag of dog food, some toys and a free plant (as seen on my web site) with his adoption.
