Mushroom's Story...
Mushroom came in to New Moon Rabbit Rescue’s care on 7 October 2012 after being found as a stray. He is a very lucky bunny to have had so many nice people help him out... even pulling some quills out after an encounter with a porcupine about three weeks ago before coming to New Moon.

Mushroom is a very active and very friendly little boy. Since he was only recently neutered (18 October 2012) Mushroom is still working to learn his litter training. Mushroom seems to be quite cuddly and loves attention but loves to run and play so getting him to hold still for long might be a challenge.

Mushroom is due for his final health check. Once he has his vets approval he will be ready for adoption. We do make every effort to keep our rabbits adoption profiles as up-to-date as possible but this is not always possible. If you are interested in adopting Mushroom or have any questions about his adoptable status, please email info@newmoonrabbitrescue.ca

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Mushroom, a North Gower Lop, Holland was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Lop, Holland for sale in North Gower, or seeking a Lop, Holland from a breeder in North Gower.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in North Gower already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a North Gower breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Lop, Holland breeders who help with Lop, Holland rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in North Gower paves the way for another one to be saved.
