Chip & Tails's Story...
These two boys came to use bonded with different cagemates. During their stay here both of them were on the receiving end of a buddy who simply couldn't handle the hormonal stress of being in the same home with females present. Both Chip and Tails are beta and very docile. The poor things simply couldn't stand up to their more aggressive cage partners. We have since paired the two together with huge success. The nearly twin boys seem to appreciate the new friend and snuggle almost constantly. What was a sad situation has become a perfect match. Now all Specner and Tails needs is a permanent home.

Our mission is to provide a safe haven for unwanted, neglected, or medically fragile chinchillas. Our goal is to rehabilitate and socialize in preparation for adoption. We gladly open our doors to those interested in learning more about these unique pets. We are available for temporary foster care, education, supplies, and networking with other local rescue organizations.

Our Adoption Process...
We have a simple adoption contract that includes specifications for the animals well being including a prohibition against breeding our adopted chinchillas.
All come with a generous supply of food, dust, etc. If needed, cages are available for a small fee.
