Romeo's Info...

I am already neutered, housetrained, purebred, up to date with shots, and not good with kids.

Romeo's Story...
Romeo is a handsome fellow. His brown is a rich color and almost a brindle which is unusual for a chihuahua but he appears to be all chihuahua. He weighs in at 6 pounds and loves to cuddle. He does very well with adults, even strangers and older children but will snap at little ones. He is just afraid of being accidently hurt and doesn't know how to handle the quick movements of little ones. He also enjoys playing and does well with other dogs even larger ones. His favorite playmate at his foster home is a 20 lb beagle mix.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Romeo, a Greensboro Chihuahua dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua for sale in Greensboro, or seeking a Chihuahua dog from a breeder in Greensboro.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Greensboro already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Greensboro breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua breeders who help with Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Greensboro paves the way for another one to be saved.
