Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Tika was another saved in the November 2011 Rescue Miracle coordinated by Stinkin’ Rose Ranch. AAE stepped up in late January to take Tika as well as three additional pregnant mares that had not been adopted as the lease for their temporary facility was running out. Upon arrival at AAE, they displayed typical signs of distrust and fear, and all were very reactive. To receive the benefit of daily attention and to await the arrival of her foal, Tika was moved to a foster family in Placerville. Tika gave birth soon after to an adorable little colt, Roo. In recent months, she has really softened and has a willing attitude. She can perform all basic groundwork and she walks/trots/canters on cue on the lunge line. She would be a fabulous project horse for someone wanting to train their own mare while developing a special lifetime bond.
