Morrie's Story...
Morrie is currently in a foster home with three very energetic boys that love to run and play with him. Morrie was rescued as a victim of being tied to a tree his entire young life. A nice family took him in and now wants to him to have the life he finally deserves. His foster family already has three other dogs and were not in a position for a fourth, but once they heard about Morrie's former life, they opened their hearts and home to this fun loving guy. In addition to playing with these boys, he loves to go hiking and jogging. He is a great lab and represents the breed well. If you are looking for a guy to be part of your family, Morrie is the dog for you.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Morrie, a Sherman Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Sherman, or seeking a Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Sherman.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Sherman already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Sherman breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Sherman paves the way for another one to be saved.
