My Story

Chloie is a 9+ year old shih tzu who came from a backyard breeder. Chloe is a very very sweet but damaged little girl. She tolerates being pet but does not like being picked up. She is just finally starting to venture off the deck into the fenced yard after 3 years here. She is afraid on a leash. She expresses her anal glands when you pick her up, that is how afraid she is. She is friendly and playful to the other dogs here and seems to get comfort from them. She likes her foster Mom and will follow her around but will not cuddle or seek out to be picked up.Due to her fear issues she is considered a flight risk and would not be a good traveling partner. She is also still learning about potty training. She is doing better but does not ask to go out and will still go in the house at times. If you have the home for Chloie, go to www.hubbardshounds.com and submit an application. NO PHONE CALLS!

Adoption donation is $150.00

This rescue group does have a contract and donation requirement to adopt a dog. This helps us to ensure the dogs safety for the remainder of his/her life and to continue to rescue dogs in need to rehome them. An applicaton must be filled out on our website www.hubbardshounds.com, references checked, an interview done and a home visit check.
