Keira's Story...
Hi, there! My name is Keira and I am a 6 year old, black with tan, labradoodle. I weigh 57 pounds, but I have been very gentle with a 3 year old child and live with a chihuahua. However, I haven't ever lived around kitties, so not sure how I'd be with them. I I don't like toys and if one of the other dogs is playing with one, I'll take it away and deposit it outside! I also love to sleep with you, but tend to be a bed hog! I have been in the same home since I was a pup, but my owner recently died and there is no one in the family who can adopt me, so these great rescue people promised to find me the perfect new home. I have always used a doggy door and lived around my boyfriend, Duncan, a 5 year old labradoodle. He is looking for a new home, too, but we don't necessarily have to be adopted into the same family, but we are very bonded to each other. I'm the doggy on the right in the photo and Duncan is on the left. The photo was taken before we were groomed. I am spayed, current on shots, groomed and will be micro chipped before going home with you. We love water and will swim in your pool if you have one. We are used to running on 9 1/2 acres, so you must have some patience with us and be willing to work with us on our manners. We are crate trained. My adoption donation is $200 or you can adopt me with Duncan for $300. We will require regular grooming. Why Adoption is a Great Option

Keira, a Phoenix Labradoodle dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labradoodle for sale in Phoenix, or seeking a Labradoodle dog from a breeder in Phoenix.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Phoenix already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Phoenix breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labradoodle breeders who help with Labradoodle rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Phoenix paves the way for another one to be saved.
