Willie's Story...
I am in prison learning all my basic obedience from the women offenders in the Lockhart Prison.

I am being potty/crate trained, learning to sit, down, stay and some tricks too!

Won't you let me parole to your home and I will be so grateful.

All dogs are from rural area shelters and brought into the prison where they live with the female inmates 24/7 and are taught all their basic obedience!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Willie, a Lockhart St. Bernard/Great Pyrenees dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a St. Bernard/Great Pyrenees for sale in Lockhart, or seeking a St. Bernard/Great Pyrenees dog from a breeder in Lockhart.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Lockhart already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Lockhart breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even St. Bernard/Great Pyrenees breeders who help with St. Bernard/Great Pyrenees rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Lockhart paves the way for another one to be saved.
