Rupert von Runkle's Story...
Rupert von Runkle is a wonderful 2.5 year old German Shepherd. Notice that his eyes seem to ask, "What's happening here?" This handsome dude is partially housebroken; a little more training will finish the job. He has a medium-level energy and is good on the leash. He loves people and likes to give you the paw to say hello. Rupert flexes his muscles a bit with other dogs so he is a bity picky with the dogs he likes.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Rupert von Runkle, a Los Angeles German Shepherd Dog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a German Shepherd Dog for sale in Los Angeles, or seeking a German Shepherd Dog dog from a breeder in Los Angeles.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Los Angeles already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Los Angeles breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even German Shepherd Dog breeders who help with German Shepherd Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Los Angeles paves the way for another one to be saved.
