My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

CJ, Fixed Male, 25 lbs, yellow smooth-coat lab mix, DoB approx 6/7/12, OK with other dogs. Not sure about cats or children. Puppy shots current. Not fully housebroken, not leash or fully crate trained, but willing to learn. CJ is sweet, playful, and not aggressive. He LOVES people and is great at playing with a few other non-aggressive dogs, but backs away if too many dogs jump in at once. He happily joins us in the morning, timidly climbing onto the end of the bed. Then he slowly inches his way up into “cuddle territory” for some strokes. Give him a little love and he jumps off, runs around happily, and then goes off to play. He likes to sleep in an open crate and might learn to sleep in a closed crate if he had a friend in with him. We bring a few of our rescues every Sunday to the Chula Vista Petco Unleashed, 304 East H Street, just off the 805 freeway so if you want to meet CJ, please call or email so we will be sure he is with us.
