I got adopted to a great home! This is a Courtesy Posting Only: Charlotte Cocker Rescue of NC is not to be held responsible for the health or temperament of this dog. Max is currently being fostered by his owner who rescued him from a shelter, but is now unable to keep him. These nice folks would like to find him a great new "forever" home. There is a small adoption fee which will be discussed when you inquire, and you will be required to fill out an application.
Max is a very handsome, 4 year old, neutered cocker boy. His life has been really hard and he is lucky to be alive. At his first home, he was kept in a breeding place that ended up sending him to a high kill shelter. Then he got lucky and was adopted, but they brought him back. Then he got another chance to have a home and this nice lady came along and thought he was just beautiful. She adopted him and took him home to this very nice family.
Max is currently under foster care with this very nice family until he can find a new home. They would love to keep him, but he does not get along with their other dogs due to some jealousy issues when their dogs are given attention and he is in the same room with them. Max does not seem to enjoy the company of any other dogs, and does not like "big dogs," so it will be best for him to be adopted into a family where he will be the only dog and can be the center of your life. This family thinks he is a great dog, loving, sweet, and very affectionate. And, he loves to fetch and cuddle too. He is also micro-chipped too.
Will you please give Max the chance that he deserves to find his new "forever" home? The new family must be willing to fill out an application and pay a small adoption fee.
