Max's Story...
Max is a Corgi mix. We think he is between 1-2 yrs old, but full of puppy energy. He loves running around with his canine friends, and fetching anything you can throw his way. He will need to learn his puppy manners, but he is more then eager to learn. Max has many corgi characteristics, so experience with the corgi breed would be a plus. At 23lbs Max will be a great family that you can take pretty much anywhere!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Max, a Wappingers Corgi/Pug dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Corgi/Pug for sale in Wappingers, or seeking a Corgi/Pug dog from a breeder in Wappingers.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Wappingers already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Wappingers breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Corgi/Pug breeders who help with Corgi/Pug rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Wappingers paves the way for another one to be saved.
