My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Dahlia, Fixed Female, DoB approx 5/15/12, german shorthair pointer / border collie mix, 23 lbs (at 5+ months), partly leash trained, knows her name, takes from a fork when meds are given, mostly house trained, sleeps on a rug with her friends or curled up in an open crate, not interested in cats. A striking, dark-furred, blue-eyed beauty with freckled socks, Dahlia loves human companionship but also loves to romp and play with other dogs. She is a bit timid around older, more aggressive dogs who let her know when she oversteps her proper place but she doesn’t let their crankiness keep her down for long. Soon she is back, romping, or trying to get what she wants – LOVE and AFFECTION from her human. She is high-spirited but eager to please. We bring a few of our rescues every Sunday to the Chula Vista Petco Unleashed, 304 East H Street, just off the 805 freeway so if you want to meet Dahlia, please call or email so we will be sure she is with us.
