Meet darling Duncan, new to rescue, and you simply MUST meet this wonderful boy! He has not had an easy life so far, but he has such a wonderful spirit and is so deserving of a loving home and a second chance at happiness. Duncan is about 12 - 15 months old and needs a home who will devote time to training this sweetheart. He is a big, goofy boy who really has little manners at this point. He has a super soft coat and a gentle, sweet face and demeanor He is a clean-slate to be worked with! He wants to please so badly, he just needs someone to show him how to be a "regular dog"! Duncan walks fine on leash and does great with the other dogs in his foster home. Duncan also appears to be fine with cats. Because of his puppy exhuberance and lack of manners, no children under the age of 12 for Duncan please. If you are interested in meeting Duncan and providing a loving, forever home, please complete an adoption application at http://www.northwestgermanshepherd.org. The adoption donation ranges from $150 to $450 and is based on the age of the dog. This amount only partially covers the cost of veterinary care, boarding fees, and other miscellaneous expenses involved in the temporary care, and adoption of our dogs. Adoption fees may be tax deductible as we are a 501(c)(3) organization. Prior to placement, all dogs will be spayed or neutered, receive current vaccinations and are microchipped.
